In Need of A Tripod... HELP!.

Good morning all.. Hope you are having a great weekend. If you live in southern California it's raining today It's a good day to have a movie marathon and some comfort food..  =)
This morning I was looking through all of my pictures that I have taken. I noticed something ..... What is it??? I am rarely in any of all of my millions and millions of pictures... ( Okay not millions but  thousands.) I am nowhere to be found.

I am going to make it a point to get my self a tripod ... But somewhat in lost just because there are so many some are majorly expensive and some are just plain cheap ... I had purchased one at my local Target store when I had first purchased my camera took it out the box, set it up but no way was I trusting my camera on that thing.. The tripod was so flimsy I was scared it would just tip over and break my camera. So I returned it. I haven't purchased another.. Hoping you can give me tips on where or what kind I should buy.. I would greatly appreciate the help...   =)

XOXO, Isela

Endocrinologist Visit....

Hello and Happy Friday!! Finally the week is over, this week was pretty long and dragging for me. Eighter way hope you all have a great weekend.. The forecast for us here in Southern Cali is rain all weekend.. I don't mind the rain. I love rainy schedule, stay home, movie marathon weekend.. lol!!

On another note... Yesterday was my 4 month follow up with my Endocrinologist, and believe me I dread going to these appointments but I know I have to keep them. If you ask why I hate them?? It's because I know that I always get told a thing or two.  Sometimes I have to prepare my self mentally before I go there. I was really tempted to call and reschedule my appointment yesterday morning but I had already told myself no I can't do that. So I went.... =)

The first thing when I checked in was to give up my insulin pump.. The reason for this was to upload all my information from the past 4 months. There is no way of cheating yourself out of this one because every time I check my blood it automatically uploads my glucose readings to my pump..   No Log books... I can't change the readings = )... So here I am waiting for the doc and my readings. My doctor checked my feet, blood pressure , glucose reading at the time and temperature every thing was normal. Then she said "Ok now to the good stuff"... TUNN TUN TUTUNNN!!!! All i hear is WOW!!!! what have you been doing??? Your readings look great and what ever you are doing keep doing it!!! Oh, I could've just fainted at the time cause I was waiting for the worse... Sigh of relief!!!! fewwww! Well I have been trying my best to eat a lot better. Keeping track of my carbs and walking a lot more. It actually feels good to walk. It just makes me feel brand new for some reason.. I do have to be honest sometimes it gets hard for me. But I have a lot to live for so I continue to push  forward.

Help Bring A Smile to His Face..

For Aidan!!!

A Baby in Need of Smiles - Please Help Little Aidan
Tanya from Scrappin KY Momma needs help from all of us crafters. She knows this little boy and his family and would like to send him cards. Here's his story...

Aidan is a sweet lil 2 year old who was recently diagnosed with T Cell Leukemia. On Wednesday, he had a port installed in his chest, spinal tap, bone marrow, and chemo in his spine. He did GREAT! This lil guy is such a trooper. His parents have accepted that their BABY has Leukemia.. NOT the easiest thing to accept, but their faith in God and their support system have kept them going. T-Cell Leukemia has a high cure rate although chemo will be continued for quite a while. Lil Aidan LOVES mail, like any 2 year old does. So....

Let's get our crafting supplies out and send this lil guy some LOVE!!! Pass this on to all your crafty friends. I think we can all take a couple minutes and make something special for him that will bring LOTS of smiles and he can look at over and over. We all know how laughing and smiling can be good for the soul. Let's give him this much for him to enjoy while he's battling this horrible disease. I have no doubt in my mind that God can perform a miracle in this beautiful child. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.Lets all come together and put Lots of BIG Smiles on Aidan's and his parents faces.

You can mail your cards to:

Men and Feminine Products...

Hello and T.G.I.F!!! Finally time to go home from work.. This week was a very long and busy week for me..  Lots going on..  I just had to share this with you before I headed home.. This morning I was listening  to KIIS FM 102.7 and Ryan Seacrest was talking about men and feminine products. He asked his audience if there were any men out there who secretly used their girlfriend's or wife's feminine products.. Which I am sure there is a lot of men out there who do.. They use the female shaving cream because it leaves a softer shave or the feminine wash because I'm sure they think "Well if it's washing someones dedicate parts it can work for me.. " LOL!! Face wipes with the fresh feel I'm sure they use that too.. But do tell me why are some men soo freaked out of walking out the store with these products???? Because they are Pink or because they have Pretty flowers in them I think... Well my other questions is why do men's product need to feel like if they have to wash of sand and dirt off their body... Well this was just something I had to share.. =) Have a great weekend!!
