Did you know that Knott's Berry Farm honors our Veterans?? If you didn't now you know.. lol! This past weekend we took a trip to Knott's Berry Farm, in honor of Veteran's Day. My husband served in the military (US NAVY) for 7 years. He was aboard the USS VALLEY-FORGE, which was stationed off San Diego, CA. I say stationed off San Diego because it has already been decommissioned a few years ago. Well my husband received an email of all the great deals that were being offered to him for serving our country. Which one of them was free entrance to Knott's. All military personnel active or retired where granted a free entrance with one free guest and $15 dollars for up to 6 guest. So we didn't pass it up and decided to take a trip. I have always liked Knott's Berry Farm and now was time for us to enjoy it with our 3 year old son. He had a blast riding the race cars in Camp Snoopy. Calico Mine ride was a bit of a challenge just because it was dark in some areas but still managed to get through it with him not saying a word he was just amazed at all the miners that were looking for gold I tell Ya!!! lol! My son has this thing with Cowboys so I figured he would enjoy the BIG Train ride. Which he did, he liked it even more when the cowboys were in the cabin holding us up looking for money... (Of course it was part of the ride) not a real hold up. Here are a few of the pics I took.. I will say we had great and memorable time. I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!

As you all can read from my profile. I am a Type 1 Diabetic. My life depends on insulin, I am happy to say that I have a job that offers me health insurance at no cost to me. That is how I get to see my doctors and fill my much needed prescriptions. Unfortunately not everyone can do that. There are many adults and children that for one reason or another can't get medical attention nor the medication that is required to survive. That is the reason why I am here today to ask for a huge BIG favor. This will only take a few minutes but will changes someones life for a life time. Please view "THE BIG BLUE TEST VIDEO" on www.youtube.com and press "LIKE IT". With every view and like we get, it donates to a cause that will help a much needed child obtain Insulin to survive..
